David J.C. Davies
President and Founder

David Davies is a forward-thinking executive with over 20 years of proven marketing and communications achievement. As the President and Founder of HarbourWerks Strategies, David develops and implements strategic communications programs for high-profile clients in the British Columbia technology and cleantech sectors while generating sales leads and developing online strategies for generating business.

He has considerable success in supporting the growth of start-up companies to prominence in international markets. He has earned valuable coverage for HarbourWerks clients in local, national and international media, such as CBC, BBC, Globe and Mail, Wall Street Journal and New York Times.

Before founding HarbourWerks, Mr. Davies was with the Bentall Group and Sport Chek, now owned by The Forzani Group. Mr. Davies has served as a Director of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Victoria and as a member of the Mayor of Victoria's economic roundtable, the Faculty of Business Advisory Panel for Royal Roads University and the University of Victoria.
